With a small team of talented artists, we set forth to change the familiar Rift into something that changed for each game - elemental dragons swooping in to affect the map during the game, as well as new alcoves that appear in the top and bottom lanes.
This has been the most intimidating and amazing project I've ever had the chance to work on - Summoner's Rift has had a long lasting impression on me since I first started playing League, and the single largest influence on my art and career. The chance to make such massive changes to it was terrifying and exhilarating, and I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with such an amazing team.
